My Experience

My experiences with the Legends so far has given me the courage to express myself far beyound the point i never knew i could. I learned a lot from Cardte Hicks and her organization. Cardte has blessed me with this job and i hope to spend many years with this tough fox. I want to  thank Cardte Hicks and her amazing organization for pulling me a board to become apart of her team. : )

I want to thank Cardte Hicks for helping me get this job working within her company for The Legends Kids First. I enjoy working with children, and I love their education, nurtition and sports program. The perfect combination. Thanks to Cardte and The Legends. Now my confidence and my fitness has been boosted. I am ready to take on any challenges and if not for the hard work and passion that Cardte and her crew had provided for me, I am sure my self esteem woudl not have been lifted.

Basketball Camp- Mecca Velasquez

Thank you so much Cardte, that was such a blessing having the opportunity for my son Mecca to attend your Basketball Camp.  He really enjoyed himself and now he is more interested in basketball.  Your program was a special gift to our family.  We look forward to next year.

Although it was alot of driving on my part, it was so worth it and I would do it again.  

You are a great lady with a great gift.  Anyone that can motivate kids like you, is a blessing.  

Keep up the great work and I'm thankful for you being apart of my son's life.

I appreciate the dedication and care you give my son Emmanual and I as a personal trainer. Working out together and watching my son reach and push encourages me to make PERMANENT life changes. Volunteer - Give a Day, Get a Disney Day

I would like to say thank you for the great time we had at the Legends Fitness Challenge.  My son enjoyed himself.  What great way to bring families and fitness together.  I am going to do my part and pu the other days on my facebook page and my twitter.  The more people know the more will come.  I am going to make it back to the one in June.  I look forward to see you.  Thank you for a great time.

Hi Cardte, I know you don't remember me I was at your Basketball Camp you put on in Oakland in the early 80's. My name is Launa Riley, you nicknamed me "Automatic". I've always wondered how you were doing, until recently my brother called from Sacramento to tell me he saw you on television. It's good to know you are doing well and it makes me very happy see you are continuing to make differences in kids/adults lives. You are truly an inspiration. I hope to hear from you.

Thank You!!

I just wanted to thank you, Cardte, for all of your hard work and dedication in training me this summer. I am going back to school feeling more confident and stronger than ever because of you. You made every workout enjoyable and rewarding, and for that I thank you.

I also want to express my gratitude for all that you've done for my mom. As you know we are very close, and the past couple of months of training have done wonders for her.  It was especially great when we got to work out together.  She now has more energy, looks and feels great, and is an overall happier person.  You've been such a blessing to everyone in my family, I'm so thankful to have you in our lives!

I really look forward to coming home at breaks to see your smiling face and get my butt kicked again! I know that I will be able to keep up the hard work by myself at school after learning so much from you. 

I can't thank you enough Cardte, you're an angel!  And even though I'm not your "real" neice, you'll always be my Auntie =)

Basketball Camp

Just wanted to show my gratitude to you and your staff for giving my two boys(Dontae & Dontrell)  a chance to participate in both of the camps. Dear Cardte

I just wanted to thank you and your wonderful staff for the awesome job that you guys did with the kids during soccer and basketball camps as well as the Healthy Kids camp.  You guys are great!  My son, Razvan, loved it even though sometimes he forgot to show it. After all he is only 3 years old.

May God bless you in all you do, give you back many times over what you put in and please, keep me in mind in the future if I can be of any help.

Again, thank you for a fun filled summer and for touching our hearts.
